Lord Jesus, although Your Word constantly refers to the reverse of good as being evil, the word is so harsh. Even though we are all capable of sin, I humbly ask for Your protection against those who would label good as evil and vice versa. Protect us from those who plot against the truth and those who embellish the truth to suit their own malign purposes.

May Your angels always surround us, squelching our fears and battling the unseen, evil spiritual forces. As our enemy seeks to exalt itself against You, please help us to knock down every imagination and notion that it has.

When you died on the cross for us and rose again three days later, you delivered a fatal blow to our spiritual foe. Even as evil continues to exist, Your name and Your blood’s power rises up to vanquish it and grant us victory over all evil that is aimed at us.
