Divine Victory in the Bible

Divine Victory In The Bible

The Bible claims that God created the world and everything in it in six days, and that after completing what He set out to do, He rested on the seventh day. In contrast, the number 17 in the Bible represents “overcoming the enemy” and “full victory.”

On the seventeenth day of the second Hebrew month, God began to flood the earth with rain, overcoming the sins of disobedient humanity. On the seventeenth day of the seventh month, during the holy time known as the Feast of Tabernacles, Noah’s Ark and its eight occupants came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

When God raised Jesus Christ from the dead on the 17th of Nisan, just before dusk, He also completely defeated death and the grave. That being the case, there is no question that the 17th year of this millennium delivers us something heavenly, a Divine Victory.

The miracles of heavenly victory defy explanation. What justifies the triumph that King Jehoshaphat is said to have achieved in 2 Chronicles 20:15–24? How can you account for a praise team taking on the armies of three kings and winning hands down?

The fact that this victory was divinely ordained made it remarkable. Jehoshaphat organized a praise team that sung about the praise and mercies of God rather than assembling a bow and arrow, a shield and spear, and other weapons of battle.

The miracles of divine victory appear as follows:

No one had escaped when the men of Judah arrived at the location that overlooks the desert and turned to face the massive army. They only saw dead bodies lying on the ground in 2 Chronicles 20:24.

However, the tale of David’s triumph over Goliath is another well-known illustration of the miracles of divine victory. How else would you explain a little boy killing a big guy, like a bird in a nest, if it weren’t a wonder? In addition to the fact that a person will win when the Almighty God battles on their behalf, the way and means by which the triumph will be achieved will produce wonders.

Goliath hated David and cursed him by his gods when he saw him. David replied in the following way:

You come against me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel’s armies, whom you have disobeyed, David responded to the Philistine in 1 Samuel 17:45.

Here, there was a struggle for spiritual dominance. David met Goliath with Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of hosts, while he was being cursed by Goliath through his idols.

Here, there was a struggle for spiritual dominance. David met Goliath with Jehovah Sabaoth, the Lord of hosts, while he was being cursed by Goliath through his idols. David understood that physical prowess alone does not win battles.

He rapidly activated his spiritual antenna because he was aware that it is even more spiritual than physical. As the drama comes to a close, divine victory is marveled upon. A giant who an entire nation dreaded for 40 days was brought down by a common stone in the hands of one of God’s anointed.

In actuality, his head was ultimately separated from his body by the Goliath sword. David had faith in his God, and he was not let down.

Delays In Divine Victory
Brothers and sisters, praise the Lord. This year will be our year of Divine Victory, according to a prophecy from the Lord. However, success does not always come easily.

We learned from the story of Isaac that Isaac’s divine victory over the Philistines, who constantly attempted to obstruct his progress, resulted from being!

1. Obedience to God’s command to remain in Gerar.

2. Sowing seeds even though all signs pointed to him not reaping anything. Amazingly, he planted and collected a hundred times as much in the same year!

3. His patience and perseverance, even when the Philistines really provoked him,

4. His perseverance in digging up to the seventh well, which was the well of Beersheba that the Philistines were unable to block. What a relief to know that, if I persevere, like Isaac, I can win the ultimate battle!
